Friction plus moisture over distance is what makes a blister — so the fibre, the linked toe seam and the cuff height are specified before anything else, and cotton never gets past the first one.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 pairs — a small squad is a normal order for us — with bulk pricing tiers as the quantity grows.
How fast will my socks arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished socks ship in about 2 weeks, with express turnaround available when a race date is fixed.
Why is cotton such a problem in a running sock?
Cotton holds several times its own weight in water and loses its structure once it is wet. A wet, collapsed sock slides against skin, and friction plus moisture over distance is exactly how a blister forms. “Moisture-wicking” printed on a cotton sock is a marketing line, not a construction.
What is a linked toe and why does it cost more?
A linked toe joins the two edges of the fabric loop for loop, leaving a flat join. The cheap alternative is overlocking, which leaves a ridge of stitching across your toes. Linking is a slower machine operation, and on a thin sock it is the single thing most worth paying for.
Do you make compression socks?
No. Graduated compression is a measured product — a stated pressure at the ankle decreasing up the calf — and it is bought and fitted differently from a running sock. We make performance running socks and we would rather point you at a compression specialist than sell you a tight sock and call it compression.
Do you make grip socks?
No. Socks with silicone grips on the sole are a studio product for pilates, yoga and barre, and they are a different build. Everything here is made to be worn inside a running shoe.
What does cushioned mean, and will it change my shoe fit?
Cushioning is terry loops knitted into the sole, and done properly it is zoned under the ball and heel rather than spread everywhere. It does take up shoe volume, so if your runners were fitted in thin socks a cushioned sock will feel tighter. We will always tell you when the ultralight is the safer choice.
Is the logo printed or knitted?
Knitted in. Print on a sock cracks, stiffens the fabric and washes off. Knitting means the artwork has to be redrawn for a needle count, which we do free — fine lines and small type have to be opened out or they close up in the knit.
