About this product

Ultralight Racing Socks

Race day socks are a subtraction problem. Take out the terry, take out the second layer, take out anything that holds water, and what is left is a thin sleeve that dries quickly and disappears inside a racing shoe.

The one thing you cannot subtract is the toe seam. On a sock this thin there is no cushioning between the seam and the skin, so an overlocked toe — a ridge of stitching across the toes — is felt within a mile. Ours are linked flat, which is a slower and more expensive machine operation and the only part of this sock worth paying for.

They are not durable in the way a cushioned trainer sock is, and we do not pretend otherwise. This is a sock for racing and fast sessions, and if your club wants one pair to do everything, this is not it.

FAQ

Ultralight Racing Socks: quick answers

What is the minimum order for ultralight racing socks?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Why does the toe seam matter so much on a thin sock?
Because there is nothing between the seam and your skin. An overlocked toe leaves a ridge of stitching across the toes; a linked toe joins the fabric edge to edge and leaves a flat join. On a cushioned sock you might not notice. On this one you will.
Can we buy these as our only club sock?
We would not recommend it. They are thin on purpose and they wear out faster than a cushioned or quarter sock. Most clubs run these alongside a quarter-height sock rather than instead of one.
