Runners blame the shoe. It is almost never the shoe.
Customized Running Socks makes performance running socks to order — no-show, quarter height, trail, double-layer anti-blister, cushioned marathon and ultralight racing — with your logo knitted in rather than printed on.

A blister is friction, plus moisture, plus time. The shoe supplies the movement, but what is actually dragging across skin is the sock, and how wet that sock is decides how hard it drags.
That is the whole of it, and it means three things get specified before anything else: the fibre, because cotton holds water and then collapses; the toe seam, because an overlocked toe is a ridge of stitching lying across the toes; and the fit, because a sock that is not shaped left and right is a sock fighting the foot it is on.
Everything else on a running sock — the colour, the cuff logo, the packaging — is the easy part, and it is the only part most suppliers will talk to you about.
Why we exist
This is a category sold on adjectives. Breathable, wicking, cushioned, performance. Almost none of them are specifications and several of them are printed on socks that are mostly cotton.
So we quote the things that are actually decisions. Whether the toe is linked or overlocked. Whether the cuff of a no-show clears the heel counter of the shoe it will be worn in. Whether cushioning is zoned terry under the ball and heel or just a thicker sock everywhere. Whether the welt is knitted tighter than the leg, which is the only reason a sock top stays up. None of those cost much. All of them are visible in a race.
What we actually make
No-show socks cut to finish above the shoe’s heel counter, with a silicone gripper and a pull tab. Quarter-height socks with a deep ribbed welt, which is the sensible choice if a club is buying one height for everybody. Trail socks with a close-knitted debris cuff and a merino blend that still does something useful soaked. Double-layer anti-blister socks, where the shear happens between the two layers instead of against skin. Cushioned marathon socks with terry zoned under the ball and heel. And ultralight racing socks, which are thin on purpose and wear out faster on purpose.
All six are shaped left and right, all six have a linked flat toe, and on all six the branding is knitted into the fabric rather than printed onto it.
What we do not make
Graduated compression socks. Compression is a measured product — a stated pressure at the ankle that decreases up the calf — and it is bought, sized and fitted differently from a running sock. A tight sock is not compression, and we will not sell one as the other.
Grip socks with silicone on the sole, either. Those are a studio product for pilates, yoga and barre. Everything we make is built to be worn inside a shoe.
And we do not make casual crew socks, dress socks or fuzzy socks. This is a running sock factory and the specification is different all the way through.
Three things we will tell you that cost us money
Cushioned socks take up shoe volume. If your runners were fitted for their shoes wearing thin socks, a cushioned sock will make those shoes tight, and on a marathon that matters more than the cushioning does.
An antimicrobial finish is not a substitute for washing, and it depletes with every wash regardless of what the label implies.
Merino is not simply the better fibre. It is the better fibre when the sock is going to be wet for a long time. For a fast dry summer road sock, synthetic is the right answer and costs less.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with fibre, gauge, construction and quantity, and a linked toe costs more than an overlocked one for a real reason. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
On artwork
Knitting is not printing. Your logo is built out of stitches at a fixed needle count, so hairline rules and small type close up and disappear. We redraw for the knit free, and we will show you the proof before anything runs.
We hold the redrawn artwork, so next season’s reorder is one line of email and the socks come back identical.
